That was October, 1983.
So very sorry. My condolences to you and your family, Jim.
All Saint’s is November 1st, which is why October 31st is All Hallow’s E’en. All Saints is for all the saints, known and unknown. All Souls is November 2nd, and it’s for everyone.
My deepest condolences, Jim. Debra was a wonderful person, a gifted writer and editor, and a valued friend. The SF/F world mourns with you.

So sorry for your loss
My condolences on your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. I met Debra back in the early 2000s and have considered her an online friend for around 20 years. I will miss her hugely. Her hard nosed but always humane wisdom and her real love of so many subjects made her a real pleasure to know.
I’m so sorry to hear this. We were long-term Livejournal mutuals. I will miss Debra very much. My condolences.
So very sorry, James.
